Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated October 26, 2026

1. Why this policy exists

Saucer holds information about real people: crews, applicants and the managers who lead them. This policy keeps that information safe and the Service working well for everyone. It’s part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses Saucer, including managers, crew and applicants.

2. Follow the law

  • Don’t use Saucer for anything illegal, including breaking employment, wage-and-hour, anti-discrimination, privacy, consumer-protection or background check laws.
  • Don’t make hiring or scheduling decisions based on characteristics the law protects.
  • Give the notices and get the consents the law requires before collecting information, signatures, photos or videos from people.

3. Treat people right

  • No harassment, threats, hate, or sexual content involving anyone in messages, shout-outs, applications or uploads.
  • Don’t post someone’s private information to the crew without a good reason and their okay.
  • Only give leaders and managers the access their job needs, and remove access when someone leaves.

4. Keep sensitive data out of the wrong places

  • Don’t store Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or government ID numbers in Saucer’s questions, notes, messages or free-text fields. Saucer isn’t built to hold them. Use your payroll or background check provider for that information.
  • Collect health information only when you need it, and only in documents marked as private health information.

5. Don’t misuse the Service

  • Don’t try to get into accounts, companies or data that aren’t yours, or test, scan or probe Saucer for weaknesses without our written permission. Found a security issue? Tell us at support@getsaucer.com.
  • Don’t upload viruses or harmful code, overload the Service, or get around its limits or security.
  • Don’t scrape, copy or reverse-engineer Saucer, or use it to build a competing product.
  • Don’t use Saucer to send spam or messages to people who didn’t agree to hear from you.
  • Don’t share sign-ins, resell access, or pretend to be someone else.
  • Only upload content you have the right to use.

6. What happens if this policy is broken

We may remove content, limit features, or pause or end an account that breaks this policy, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities. Where we reasonably can, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. To report a problem, email support@getsaucer.com.
