Our Story
Saucer started backstage. We’ve spent our seasons running haunts: hiring the cast, filling every scare zone, scanning crew in at the gate and sorting out the 6 PM call-outs. The tools never kept up, so we built the one we wished we’d had.
Before Saucer
Someone changed a phone number, quit, or came back, and the spreadsheet never heard about it. Everyone had a different copy.
Changes went out, got buried, and somebody still showed up on the wrong night. Call-outs at 6 PM meant scrolling and guessing.
Applications in one place, auditions in another, paperwork on clipboards and hours on a sheet someone had to type in later.
The people running the floor couldn’t see who was here, who was missing or where to move people, at least not from their phone in the dark.
So we built the mothership
From the first application to the last night, every step feeds the next one. One roster that’s always current, and nothing that has to be copied from one place to another.
And it isn’t a theory. Saucer runs a real haunt’s season, so every feature has been through real October nights, real call-outs and real lines out the door.
What we believe
Seasonal crews come back for the people and the feeling, not the paycheck. Saucer is built to make them feel seen: their shifts, their badge, their Patches, their anniversaries.
Every piece talks to the others. Hire someone and their onboarding starts. Scan them in and their hours are there. Nothing gets typed twice.
Haunts run in the dark, in a hurry, from a phone. Every screen is made for a leader with thirty seconds and a line out the door.
Every plan gets every feature. You pay for the size of your crew, not for the features you need to run it.

Try everything free for a week, with your real crew. If you’re moving over from another tool, we’ll help bring your people, positions and paperwork with you.
